School Meals

School meals are a nutritious option for young people, providing snacks at breaktime and lunchtime.

The meals service is provided by Tayside Contracts and you can find information and school menus by visiting their website.

Young people with dietary requirements can request an adapted menu that is prepared by nutritionaliststhe Tayside Contracts Nutrition team.  You must apply in advance for an adapted menu by completing and returning this form.

We are a cashless school.  You can pay for your young person's school meals by adding funds to their account on Parentpay.  Young people who are entitled to free school meals will get a daily credit on their account to pay for items.

School meals can be pre-ordered in advance using the Vericool app.  The app can be downloaded from google play or the app store.  You will need a code to start using the Vericool app and this can be obtained by emailing KinrossHigh@pkc.gov.uk 

Reasons to use Vericool:

• Lunch service is delivered in 8 minutes for young people who have pre-ordered
• You can help your young person with their choices and keep track of what they are spending 
• Meals can be cancelled before 9.30am and you will not be charged

Pre-ordering is the quickest way for young people to be served lunch but it is not mandatory,  Young people can still visit meal counters to make a choice of snack or lunch at the time.
